PDF Action in Desktop flows- Part 1

Introduction:

In this blog we will explore two PDF Actions from Desktop Flows.

(1) Extract Images from PDF

Input: A PDF file with Images

Action:

Extract images from PDF Extract images from a PDF file Select parameters PDF file: Page(s) to extract: All Image name(s): Save image(s) to: Advanced On error PDF. pdf Images Cancel

Output: In the mentioned folder, extracted images will be saved

Extracted lmages 1тд-О lmg-1 Microso't now Img-2

(2) Extract text from PDF

Just like we extracted Images, we extract text from PDF.

Input:

1 -18H

Action:

Extract text from PDF Extract text from a PDF file Select parameters PDF file: Page(s) to extract: v Advanced Password; Single Range > Variables produced ExtractedPDFText On error *List42021.pdf (x) Cancel

Output: the output variable will show the extracted values.
