Restart Feature in Business central


Administrators may need to restart a specific Business Central environment to resume normal operation in some cases as a troubleshooting step.

Steps to achieve the goal:

  1. Go to your settings and select Admin Center.
2. Open the Sandbox/Production Environment you need to restart. In this case I want to restart the Sandbox Environment.
3. Choose Session Option.

4. Then click on Restart Environment Action.

5. Once you done clicking the Restart. The Restarting state can be found on the environment detail page.
6. After a while, the status will change to Active, and the user will be able to log in to BC.

Thus we saw how we can restart the environments in Business central.
